Following the owners' decision to renovate rather than demolish, the former Étoile-sur-le-Lac hotel was completely rebuilt and renamed the Versô hotel. Located directly on the shoreline of Lake Memphremagog, this charming boutique hotel now offers a chic and casual atmosphere to a renewed clientele.
The mid-century retro concept pays tribute to illustrious musicians of the Quiet Revolution era, while also celebrating the heritage of activities and businesses that built the region’s reputation.
The rooms open onto a remarkable view of the lake and surrounding mountains, capturing the best of this holiday destination well known by outdoor enthusiasts and foodies alike. Wallpaper, carpet, and wood combine in a mix of textures inspired by the 60s-70s, complemented by playful yellow accents. Decorated with thin wooden slats displaying marked grooves, the reception desk is a nod to the 45 rpm records, from which the establishment takes its new name.
