Hotel Marriott Renaissance

Welcome to the Marriott Renaissance, a 4-stars boutique hotel ideally located between Montreal’s business and entertainment district, two steps away from all the city’s main attractions.

In tune with the creative essence of this artistic metropolis, the concept invites us to step into a vibrant universe inspired by Montreal’s underground. In this lively and dynamic setting, artists’ studios rub shoulders with playful public restrooms and lounges equipped with swings. The festive lighting within echoes the city lights without, while graffiti by local artists scattered throughout the hotel permeate the whole with a decidedly contemporary and urban aura.

Showcasing the lobby’s expansive volumes, metallic structures reminiscent of pergolas define inviting alcoves where clients can settle to enjoy projections and live D.J. music.

In homage to the 60s, which saw the inauguration of the Montreal metro, huge photographs taken in different stations across the city decorate the meeting rooms in the basement. In the same spirit, the bedrooms mix textures and bright colors to create a retro Mad Men look.

This design was among the winners in the «Hospitality» category during the 2019 Shaw Contract Design Awards.
